At Red Door we work with flavor combinations from many parts of the globe, among them Thailand, France, Italy, Indonesia, and Louisiana. Owners Jeanne Clothiaux, Tracy Wright, and Hal Jardine believe an exciting meal is among life's greatest pleasures--it's a cross-cultural phenomenon--but to really savor food, you have to take your time. Recognizing that, the restaurant's chief goal is to slow patrons down, to offer an evening's escape from life in the fast lane. Red Door features dishes prepared with locally and regionally-raised meats, wild salmon, and vegetarian fare.

Red Door Restaurant began with a plan to live out West. In the summer of 1998, following a year of work and travel in Asia where they sampled many new foods, Clothiaux and Wright set out on a tour of America in search of the perfect town for breathing clean air and running a restaurant that offered the customer a drawn-out meal and a good bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Chef Jardine landed on the doorstep and the last eight years have been a restaurant dream come true.
