In my cozy music room in my home, I teach cello lessons one-on-one to many adults and children, including one from Kooskia and one from Grangeville.

When I retired as a music professor at the University of Idaho, I chose to be a permanent resident of Moscow, my favorite of all the places I've lived. In addition to its beauty, strong sense of community, cultural opportunities, and colorful retail stores downtown, Moscow offers some of the most interesting and friendly people that I've ever met. My students represent many different ages, personalities, and musical levels, and I eagerly anticipate my time with each one of them.

I have had 41 years of experience as a private cello teacher. My expertise with children derives also from seventeen years as a public school music teacher. A special interest in teaching adult beginners and years of research about this have made me a specialist in adult beginners. There is no such thing as a "tin ear." Let me train yours!
