Gerardo & Patty Alvarez opened Patty's Mexican Kitchen & Catering at 450 West Sixth Street, near the University of Idaho Student Union Building, in 2001 after successfully introducing their food to Moscow at the Saturday Farmer's Market. During the summer months, Patty's continues to bring their food to the Farmer's Market in downtown Moscow every Saturday morning.

Patty, Gerardo and Tre have been in Moscow for seven years pursuing an architectural degree at the University of Idaho.

Patty uses her home recipes to make her fabulous food, that is why her food does not have the same old tired "Mexican" taste that you find everywhere else.
