For Members of Buy Local Moscow Using the Scrolling News Feature The Scrolling News Feature is located below the member listings on the home page of this website (www.buylocalmoscow.com). All Buy Local Moscow members can post short announcements of specials or in-store events on the Scrolling News Feature at no charge. Yup, for free. Free advertising! There are some restrictions, of course. All posts must be made from the email address registered to a Buy Local member. All posts will automatically be deleted after 30 days. All posts must be short, as in less than 250 characters, which is about 40 or 50 words. Please follow the specific instructions below. How to use the Scrolling News Feature: 1. Be a member of Buy Local Moscow. Active BuyLocalMoscow members can post a news item at any time for display on the home page of BuyLocalMoscow.com. Commercial announcements about sales, special events, and other items are welcome. 2. The posting process is automated and these specific instructions must be followed. Use only your email address account (registered to you as a Buy Local Moscow member). To post, just send an email to news@buylocalmoscow.com with your desired topic headline in the email subject line and your news announcement in the body of the message. Sorry, we can't accept HTML content, so please only send text email messages. Messages must be limited to 250 characters or less (about 40 or 50 words). Be sure to add the word end in the brackets <end> as the last word to every message. For example: email to: news@buylocalmoscow.com email subject: Co-op Live Music Tuesdays and Thursdays body of email: Every Tuesday, come to the Moscow Food Co-op, from 6pm to 8pm, for $2 tacos and free live music. On Thursdays, 6pm to 8pm, come to the Co-op for free live music and sampling of food and wine. 882-8537 <end> Your news item will display for 30 days and then will be automatically deleted. You will receive a reminder by email 7 days before the expiration date. News postings may be extended by resending the original message. Each Buy Local member can have only one active news message at a time on the website; sending a news message by email will replace the one you currently have displayed on the site.
