Camas  Prairie Winery is Idaho’s oldest independent winery, Northern Idaho’s oldest production winery, as well as Idaho’s only Meadery, founded in 1983.

 

We produce all of our wine on premises, so we encourage customers to “try before you buy.” Located in a 120-year-old restored brick building complete with stamped solid copper ceiling, our tasting room is as warm as our service. Choose from among our 25 wines, including the only handmade sparking wines on the Palouse, classic varietal grape wines, wild fruit wines or Honey Meads. Winner of more than 50 commercial wine-making awards, our wines are a must try, and are available at reasonable prices.

 

Camas Prairie Winery also has a loft where visitors can have a glass of any of our wines on the tasting menu in a quiet setting. Not a wine drinker? Camas Prairie Winery also features the largest selection of imported beers, over 100 varieties.The loft is also available by reservation for small to medium-sized events.
